The PPSC held a kick-off ceremony for the National Women’s Month celebration on March 4, 2022. The event conducted at the PPSC Head Office in Katipunan Avenue, Old Balara, Quezon City began with a short parade inside the compound and calisthenics. The launching of the PPSC Gender and Development (GAD) Agenda as well as an unveiling of the GAD Exhibit were carried out as part of the program with the DILG Undersecretary for Mindanao Affairs and Special Concerns, USEC MARJORIE JALOSJOS as the Guest Speaker. USec Jalosjos, in her video message, encouraged women to speak out to further purse the Women’s Agenda in adherence to this year’s sub-theme of “Agenda ng Kababaihan: Tungo sa Kaunlaran.”

Celebration of International Women’s Day – March 8 – a day that commemorates social, political, and economical achievements of women.
Gender Sensitivity Training, March 8-9 – participated by personnel and staff to increase awareness and understanding of GAD policies, issues, and concerns within organizations.
Essay Writing Contest, March 17 – participants were asked to write an essay about role of men in preventing VAW, empowering stories, and the Safe Spaces Act
Purple Tuesdays – Wearing of the official NWM 2022 Shirt every Tuesday of the month of March
HERstory Exhibit: Portraits of Women in Leadership – an exhibit hoping to honor the works of notable women and inspire others to break stereotypes and traditional notions of women’s gender roles.
