initially having 22 students. DPSSG is a catchment and capstone post graduate degree program for the alumni of the Master in Public Safety Administration (MPSA) being offered by PPSC, the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) being offered by National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) and the Master in Public Management major in Development and Security (MPM DevSec) being offered by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) and related graduate degree programs in public safety, national security, international studies, strategic studies, among others. Philippine Public Safety Academy namely Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Administration (BSFPA) and Bachelor of Science in Penology and Corrections Administration (BSPCA) were also opened in June 2022. Initially, these are 2-year program for qualified Fire and Jail Officers which will eventually shift to a 4-year program by 2028 subject to further guidelines on the shift from a 2-year program to be approved by the Board of Trustees (BOT).
