PPSC Opens Master in Crisis and Disaster Risk Management Scholarship (MCDRM) Program

The Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is opening the second batch Master in Crisis and Disaster Risk Management Program (MCDRM) this September 2017. The MCDRM is a one year scholarship program for highly qualified senior executives in government and private sectors, academe, industries, policy think tanks, uniformed officers in the interior sector, public safety and disaster risk management services.
The offering of the MCDRM is well-timed to sustain the momentum in building a critical mass of leaders, scholars, practitioners, policy advisers who will head-up the nation in time of crises and disasters. This mandate emanates from Republic Act No. 10121, otherwise known as the “Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010” by positioning the DILG at the forefront of Disaster Preparedness and Response and through its Approved Board Resolution No. 04,Series of 2016 PPSC Board of Trustees.
