Public Safety Officers Senior Executive Course (PSOSEC)
Description:
Composed of Academic and Non-Academic Phases.
- Academic Phase: Composed of 7 modules namely; Public Safety: Its context and dimension, Public Safety Administration, Laws and Jurisprudence for Public Safety Law Enforcers, Public Safety Operations, Research and research Methodology, Enhancement and Application and Career Transition Management
- Non-Academic Phase: Drills and Ceremonies, Physical Fitness Test, Defensive Tactics, Moral and Spiritual Enrichment, Educational Tour, Reveille and Sports Activities
Objective:
Designed to develop the participant's competence level and character to prepare him to assume command and staff positions in a provincial, regional and national level
Duration:
8 months (36 weeks)
Admission Requirements:
- Atleast Superintendent in rank in permanent position
- Atleast 3 years Time-in-Grade (TIG)
- Graduate of PSOAC or its equivalent
- PNP Personal Data Sheet
- True copies of certificate of required pre requisite training
- Recommendation from office/unit head
- No pending Administrative and Criminal Case from IG/IAS
- Drug Test
Public Safety Officers Advance Course (PSOAC)
Description:
Composed of Academic and Non-Academic Phases.
- Academic Phase: Composed of 5 modules namely; Public Safety: Its context and dimension, Public Safety Administration, Laws and Jurisprudence for Public Safety Public Safety Operations, and Police Office Practical Exercise (POPX)
- Non-Academic Phase: Firearms Proficiency; Defense tactics; Values Enhancement Program, Physical Fitness Test (PFT); Reveille/Sports Development, Drills and Ceremonies and Educational Tour
Objective:
Aims to develop the student's ability to assume as chiefs of Police of higher city police station or as staff officers in a district, provincial or regional level to include parallel designations in the National Support Units (NSUs) with the corresponding duties and responsibilities
Duration:
3-4 months (14 weeks)
Admission Requirements:
- At least Police Senior Inspector in rank
- At least 3 years time-in=-grade (TIG)
- Graduate of PSOBC

Public Safety Officers Basic Course (PSOBC)
Description:
Composed of Academic and Non-Academic Phases.
- Academic Phase: Composed of 6 modules namely; Public Safety: Its context and dimension, Public Safety Administration, Corruption Prevention and Public Accountability, Laws and Jurisprudence for Public Safety Law Enforcers, Public Safety Operations, Basic Police Tactics (FTX)
- Non-Academic Phase: Firearms Proficiency; Defense tactics; Values Education, Physical Fitness Test (PFT); Reveille/Sports Development, Drills and Ceremonies and Educational Tour
Objective:
Aims to develop the student's competence and character to prepare them assume staff positions in major city police stations/offices and chiefs of lower level police stations or as block/community police commanders to include parallel/designations in the National Support Units (NSUs) with the corresponding duties and responsibilities
Duration:
3-4 months (14 weeks)

Public Safety Officers Basic Course (Lateral)
Description:
This course is designed for police officers with highly technical qualifications like lawyers, physician, nurses, pilots, priests and the like. Composed of Academic and Non-Academic Phases
- Academic Phase : Composed of 7 modules namely; General Subjects, Communication Management and Leadership, Police Operations, Law and Jurisprudence, Human Rights (CHR Team Teaching Approach) and Police Tactics/Basic Combat Training (ISO)
- Non Academic Phase: Field Training Exercise (FTX), Firearms Proficiency, Defense Tactics, Drills and Ceremonies, Physical Fitness Test, FTP
Objective:
Designed to equip the lateral entrants who are new officers of the PNP with the fundamental cognitive knowledge, policing skills, and proper attitudes of an officer, and to orient them with their corresponding duties and responsibilities

1 year
Admission Requirements:
- True Copies of Appointment Papers, Oath of Office training Order, Non-Pending Case, Certificate from IG/IAS, PNP NHQ, Medical and Neuro-Psychiatric clearance duly attested by the PNP Medical Service
- Must have passed the physical examination that will be conducted by the RTS prior to actual training
Fire Officers Advance Course (FOAC)
Description:
Composed of Academic and Non-Academic Phases.
- Academic Phase : Composed of 7 modules namely; General Subjects, Research Communication, Law and Jurisprudence, Management and Leadership, Fire Service Administration and Fire Operations Management
- Non-Academic Phase : Drills and Ceremonies, Physical Fitness Test, Defensive Tactics, Moral and Spiritual Enrichment, Educational Tour, reveille and Sports Activities
Admission Requirements:
- Graduate of Fire Officers Basic Course (FOBC)
- Fire Commissioned Officer with the rank of Senior Inspector to Chief Inspector

- Passed the required physical/medical examination

Jail Officers Advance Course (JOAC)

- Academic Phase : Composed of 7 modules namely; General Subjects, Communication, Law and Jurisprudence, Management and Leadership, Research and Doctrine Development, Jail Operations, Public Safety Concerns, and Knowledge and Skills Enhancement
- Non-Academic Phase : Command Post Exercise (CPX), Firearms Proficiency, Drills and Ceremonies, Unarmed Self-Defense, Sports Activities, Physical Fitness Test, Reveille, Ballroom Dancing, Value Enhancement and Local and Foreign Tour

Aims to develop the student's competence and character to prepare them to assume wardenship, staff positions in regional offices, or any other designations appropriate for their rank
Duration:
3 months (12 weeks)

- Graduate of Jail Officers Basic Course
- At least 3 years time-in-grade (TIG)

Jail Officers Basic Course (JOBC)

- Academic Phase : Composed of 8 modules namely; General Information, Communication Management and Leadership, Law, Jail Administration, Jail Operations, Public Safety Concerns and Knowledge and Skills Enhancement
- Non Academic Phase : Field Training Exercises (FTX), Firearms Proficiency, Drills and Ceremonies, Unarmed Defense, Sports Development, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Values Enhancement Program, Ballroom Dancing, Local Tour and Reveille
