14192790 1694406384217985 792242984346937275 nThe Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) has re- launched the Master in Public Safety Administration (MPSA) program on June 30, 2016 - a high level policy, strategy and leadership program that specializes on the governance of public safety and internal peace and security.The revival is composed of highly qualified senior executives and personnel in various sectors- Uniformed, Government and Private. There are student-representatives from the Philippine National Police, National Power Corporation, House of Representatives, Department of Education, Department of Health, National Police College, Philippine National Police Academy, National Police Training Institute, and Regional Training Centers.

attributes          The program is inspired by the enactment of RA 10121, also known as “Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction Management Act of 2010”. It is implemented by the National Fire Training Institute (NFTI) with direct supervision of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), who is mandated by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to benchmark on the academic strand. The MCDRM program is anchored on the PPSC Board of Trustees Resolution No. 04, series of 2016.
 
         The program is comprised of 36 units that can be completed in three (3) trimester. It is designed to be delivered through the Blended Learning Modality that combines Face-to-Face interaction and online classes. It is a full scholarship program that is intended for qualified students from the uniformed personnel of the interior government (DILG), faculty of state universites and colleges (SUCs), officers of local government units' disaster risk reduction and management offices (LGU-DRRMOs), employees of the national government offices in the sectors of thematic areas and ancillaries, and DRRM practitioners in the private sectors and civil socieites.
